Respond to a Request

These pages describe the messages a responder uses to receive a request, submit, update and cancel a quote, and handle acknowledgements.

Responses, and updates and cancels of them, are accepted until 30 seconds after the request (ExpireTime, 126). Each is acknowledged with a QuoteStatusReport (35=AI). Fills arrive on TR and DC. For a walk-through, see Summon Responders.
